Port Adelaide

Preview by: Sam Kimber

For the second successive season, Port Adelaide has been able to catch their ‘big fish’ over the off season: this time securing Charlie Dixon from the Gold Coast. Dixon will be crucial to Port Adelaide’s hopes, giving support to Jay Schulz – something that was lacking in 2015. Aside from Dixon, the Power’s list stays largely the same for 2016, and they will be eagerly awaiting the return of Jared Polec – missing his run and carry for the majority of 2015.

In contrast to their cross-town rivals, and largely due to their average 2015 season, Port have a far less challenging draw than they did in 2015, and will be looking to capitalise on this with a swift return to September action.

Predicted Finish: 4th – 7th

I think the dockers will fished maybe 3rd or 7th I think the dockers will have a good year but beyond that the dockers need a main gold to is to be at our best but the recruiting in the draft was very low dockers put less 10 years for players and dockers don’t do it enough but the will do ok
