Fremantle selectors have swung the axe after last week’s capitulation to Hawthorn, dropping four players ahead of their clash with Carlton, with Jon Griffin coming in for Zac Clarke.
Griffin has been rewarded after some consistent form for Peel Thunder over the last month, averaging over 30 hit outs and almost two goals a game, including a bag of three against East Perth last weekend. The changes come as Fremantle face ever more scrutiny over their recent inability to post large scores. In the first eight rounds the Dockers scored over 100 points on five occasions. Since round nine their highest score has been 84 against lowly placed Brisbane.
