Roberton (ankle) injured in practice game

Running defender Dylan Roberton suffered an ankle injury in the final stages of St Kilda’s intra-club match on the weekend, however the injury isn’t expected to keep him out of their Round 1 clash with Port Adelaide.


Roberton had a real breakout season in 2015, averaging close to 21 disposals and 6 marks. The 24-year-old played predominately across defence with small stints on a wing, making him a valuable fantasy acquisition in all formats. Roberton has become an underrated player in St Kilda’s defence, often doing a good job for his team without receiving the plaudits he may deserve. With a more confident squad heading into 2016, Roberton’s performances should continue to improve.
