Jack Viney. This guy is about to take off!! Even though he missed six weeks with a broken leg earlier in the season, he was able to establish himself as a regular in Melbourne’s midfield setup.
Viney averaged the most clearances at the club (5.6) and was easily Melbourne’s best clearance winner for 2015; having the most at the club despite his six week stint on the sidelines. These are excellent signs for the young Demon. He is a player I definitely want in my team in 2016. He attacks the ball with ferocity doing everything he can to get more fantasy points for my team. He averaged 6.6 tackles a game last year and we could see even better next season. What an all round sportsman he is – he even incorporates some boxing and wrestling moves on the field!
In terms of fantasy points Viney averaged 84 points in 2015, and if you take away his sub affected game when coming back from his broken leg, his average jumps to an impressive 88 – not bad for a third year player! I believe he is now ready to become a star of the competition and a star for our fantasy teams.
Santa, if you are listening, I just have a few small requests for my squad next year…
Give me good players and stop them from getting injured – and Santa, whatever you do, PLEEEEEEASE make sure you give me Jack Viney!
