Will this be getting updated for 2017?

  2. Jay

    Jack Steven?

    • Jay

      June 15, 2016 at 7:51 pm

or is this for teams playing this week?

      • Dion Gatsios

        June 16, 2016 at 9:38 am

        Hey Jay,

Yep Jack Steven and other guns are missing only because they’re on bye this week. The rankings are to help provide a guide for the upcoming week. So for the next couple of weeks while we go through the bye rounds guns will be missing when they’re on bye.

        Cheers,

        Dion

Is this not getting updated anymore? All the ins for this week have been missed.

    • Dion Gatsios

      June 16, 2016 at 9:36 am

      Hey JD,

I did miss the update with the weekly ins last week, I had a family emergency and never got around to updating them, sorry about that. But don’t stress going forward they’re still definitely a priority for us and will be updated twice weekly.

      Cheers,

      Dion

    No Cam Guthrie?

    • Dion Gatsios

      May 19, 2016 at 10:37 am

Great pick up JD, our ranking sheet seemed to have lost the latest position changes, all have been rectified and you’ll find Guthrie in the back rankings now!

      Cheers,

      Dion

No sign of Trengove in defence despite his clear role change and potential for scoring big?

    • Dion Gatsios

      May 12, 2016 at 8:38 pm

      Hey Johann,

We were a little concerned by the potential return of Dougal Howard, and he has been named tonight, if Dougal doesn’t make the cut and is an emergency I’d feel a lot safer playing Trengove. But if he has to assume his role back in defence I’m not as keen on his scoring chances this weekend.

Looking for some advice on who to start in my forward line…

Wingard, Sam Lloyd, Petracca, Lycett, Andrejs Everitt and Mark Hutchings.

I need 2 starters and 2 emergencies. Anyone care to give their opinion?

Looking forward to seeing where the new defenders etc.. fit in (Guthrie, Mills etc..)

      May 4, 2016 at 2:55 pm

And are you guys not expecting Yeo to return this round?

      • Dion Gatsios

        May 5, 2016 at 8:10 pm

        Hey JD,

It wasn’t that we weren’t expecting him to return. We just weren’t speculating, he’s included in the ranks now that he’s been named in the team though. Also all the new positions have been updated in our ranks, Guthrie and Bontempelli I think will be big winners for coaches who managed to nab them hopefully a little later in drafts due to their centre only status to start the year. Mills we’re probably still a little cautious on, but he could get a lot of junk time this weekend against the Bombers, if you’re stretched for that last bench spot and need to throw a dart, he’s a good dart to have!

        Cheers,

        Dion

Hi guys, where would a healthy easton wood rank? Thx

    • Dion Gatsios

      April 21, 2016 at 4:14 pm

      Hey Clint,

I’d probably have him in the 30-35 range, will be interesting to see if he can climb a little further with JJ and Bob missing for the Dogs now.

    Where is stringer?

    • Dion Gatsios

      April 18, 2016 at 5:15 pm

      Hey Clint,

Going into Round 5 we currently have him ranked at 46 for Forwards. Apologies for not seeing this and responding to you sooner.

      Cheers,

      Dion

      April 19, 2016 at 4:09 pm

Why don’t you rank players who aren’t playing. Helps when looking at trades as it gives a full guide.

      • Dion Gatsios

        April 21, 2016 at 4:11 pm

        Hey Paul,

The reason we don’t include the players who aren’t named is because these are our weekly ranks which are designed to help you make decisions each week taking factors such as weekly opponent and current form into account.

We’re currently working on a trade table product, this should be released soon and will give a long term view of players rather than week to week.

Where would you put new back kamdyn mcintosh I your rankings?

    • Dion Gatsios

      April 18, 2016 at 5:17 pm

Our consensus ranks have him sitting as a top 30 play for Defenders, getting back status definitely adds value to Kamdyn!

I have Todd Goldstein (R), Mark Blicavs (CR) and Jordan Roughhead (BR) in my UF category-based side and, so far, I’m traveling well. Ruckmen always get injured. Tonight I signed up Will Minson (R) as a backup later in the season if any of my ruckmen go down. I am surprised that Matthew and Dian haven’t rated Big Will in their top 25 for the entire season. Will is still coming back from injury but when he does, he’ll be more than useful.

Ben Kennedy not a top 80 Fwd?

    • Dion Gatsios

      April 18, 2016 at 5:51 pm

      Hey Wicka,

He’s been close, Matty’s ranks have been kinder to him than mine so far this year. I hadn’t been convinced he would continue his run, will definitely be looking at him a little closer when teams come out this week though.

    Nathan Wilson, boys?

    • Dion Gatsios

      April 18, 2016 at 5:55 pm

      Hey Clive,

I’ve been a little conservative on Wilson this year, I was hoping to see a greater body of work before I moved him to high up my rankings but I probably need to pay him a little more respect, 2x60s, 1×70 and 1×80 is serviceable in your backline especially depending on how deep your league runs.

Hey guys, there’s this guy who plays for the Bulldogs who had 18 touches and kicked 5 goals against Freo in Round 1. His name is Jake Stringer, you should look him up. Not sure who’s girlfriend he’s shagged but he’s _probably_ a top 80 forward.

    • Dion Gatsios

      April 18, 2016 at 5:50 pm

Was definitely an oversight, you can be sure the package will feature in rankings from here on out!

Seems to be some WCE boys missing. Le cras and cripps jump out at me. They should brain Brisbane.

  16. Ben

    March 23, 2016 at 12:32 pm

No Jake Stringer in the top 80 forwards in the latest revision? That’s an oversight, or a huge call. Have to think he’d at least do more than Zac Clarke.

    • BT

      March 30, 2016 at 8:31 pm

Reckon he’ll make the next update though! Boy oh boy wowee!

      • Dion Gatsios

        April 18, 2016 at 5:48 pm

        Hey Ben and BT,

Was definitely an oversight! Good pick up gents, can promise the package will get the ranking respect he deserves going forward!

McEvoy a little hard done by?

    • Matthew James

      Matthew James

      February 5, 2016 at 1:43 pm

He was awful when he played alongside Ceglar last year. From 7 games together, McEvoy averaged just 58 points. I can’t recommend him based on that.
