Witts performs well as sole ruckman

Magpies ruckman Jarrod Witts performed well as the Magpies sole ruckman on Friday night against Hawthorn, he had 36 hitouts, which was a game high.

Analysis

The form of Witts will give the Magpies a selection headache, with regular 2015 first team ruckman Brodie Grundy returning via the VFL on the weekend. Grundy and Witts have previously managed to perform in the team together, and it’s likely this will again be the case once Grundy returns.
