Yeo looks to next season after Whitehead high shot

Isaah Yeo will be able to reflect this coming pre-season on the season that was for him, which was almost ended prematurely at the hands of Elliot Whitehead, whose high shot was cleared by the judiciary ahead of his preliminary final against the Storm.

Yeo, as he had been all season featuring in every 2016 Panthers game, was a solid contributor before succumbing to his injury; with 9 runs in 87 metres, and making 29 tackles while only missing 1 after coming back onto the field. Unfortunately, his efforts were not enough to keep the Raiders out, as they trounced Yeo’s side 22-12. However, Gus is happy with him going into the promising pastures anew form 2017 and beyond.

“Genuine, respectful and honest. Hardworking, reliable and tough…We’re lucky to have Isaah and he’s going to be playing here for a long time.”
